Mobile Pallet Changers

A mobile pallet changer is built to be moved to wherever the task is. It is driven into place with a forklift or pallet truck, set down, and ready for operation within minutes. That makes it particularly attractive at warehouses with varying needs, or where multiple zones share the same equipment.

In practice, mobile pallet changers are used when a customer delivers goods on single-use pallets and the contents need to be moved to EUR pallets before being brought into the facility. Or the other way round, when a hygiene area only accepts clean plastic pallets and incoming wooden pallets must be exchanged at the gate.

Power and connection

Most models run on 230V mains power, but battery-driven variants are also available for locations without fixed power. Cycle time is typically 30 to 60 seconds per pallet swap, depending on weight and pallet flow.

Volume and flexibility

Mobile pallet changers are optimised for low to medium volumes, typically up to 30 pallets per hour. If higher throughput is needed, stationary or in-line pallet changers are recommended. In return, the mobile model can cover several work areas and save the investment in multiple stationary units.
